2009 SEASON PREVEIW.

WOR Events are very pleased to announce the 2009 calendar of events and also details of the new registration system and revamped website.

With an all new 16 round Off road Premiership series lying ahead, the future looks bright for the WOR Events riders. The 2009 series will consist of 16 events (all of them) but will have the riders best 9 results to count for the overall placing.
This should take pressure off the riders “committing” to too many different championships and allow some flexibility and choice into the equation as well.

There will be some fresh venues along with a return to some old and trusted ones, also a return to some places that we have not visited for a few years; this again will ensure a great choice and variation for the WOR riders.

A 6 round Junior Championship will again feature in the busy WOR calendar and you can expect some “EXTRA” dates to be fitted in to allow a Moto Duro series and some special one off events take place. The mega popular Race Exp Days will continue with a full 16 dates to go at.
These days are simply getting more and more popular as riders choose and find their way into this wonderful sport of ours. The new registration system has been totally revamped and will benefit ALL riders this time and not just the former gold card holders. As of the Monday 3rd November (you are probably now on it!!) the WOR website will have been tweaked and given a polish and a fresh new vision will be the feast for your eyes.
Once again MOTUL and MICHELIN will be WOR Events biggest supporters and we thank them whole heartedly for their tape/banners and association which all helps keep the profile of WOR as high as possible and make the riders feel they are part of a proper race organisation.

The awesome TOUGH ONE kicks off the year again for us on Saturday 17th January 2009 and this will be the LAST ONE at Nantmawr Quarry (sad we know!!!) but things move on and get bigger.

Then it is business as usual for the team as we plan and execute the roll of events that will make up the rest of the year.

WOR would like to take this opportunity to thank all the riders that have supported us through 2008 and look forward to a very busy and action packed 2009 together.
